Valencia, CA (June 10, 2013) – PDC Healthcare, the global leader of innovative identification solutions, will display its newest and best-selling products for labor & delivery, as well as some exciting promotions for attendees, at booth #242 during the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) Convention from June 15-19, in Nashville, TN.

PDC Healthcare will debut its new DuraSoft® TenderCare® Laser Newborn ID System that helps ensure every infant is properly identified and matched to their parents. A direct thermal version of TenderCare®, the first and only thermal 4-part newborn ID system on the market, will also be exhibited. A variety of additional labor & delivery and NICU products, specially designed for infant patient comfort, will be on display. 

All show attendees will have a chance to instantly win a Coach designer handbag, or a $150 Amazon gift card, by participating in PDC Healthcare’s “Who’s your Mama” promotion. To enter, participants can present their bar coded TenderCare® thermal wristband - provided in the attendee bag upon registration - to PDC Healthcare’s booth. Wristbands will then be scanned to determine instant winners. If the winning wristband is not scanned during AWHONN, a second chance drawing will occur after the show has ended, and the winner will be notified via phone or email. 

Attendees will also have the opportunity to win up to $5,000 by entering PDC Healthcare’s “Share your Patient Safety IDeas Contest.” To enter, participants will complete a short questionnaire on an iPad or form and submit an original idea for a new patient safety ID product. Submissions will be collected and reviewed by PDC Healthcare representatives, and any potential winners will be contacted by phone.
