July 2005 (Chicago, Illinois) - Ezic, Inc., announces its selection by Precision Dynamics Corporation (PDC), San Fernando, CA, as the Internet payment gateway of choice to support their Smart Band® Wristbands and Smart Kiosk™ cashless payment solution.

"Smart Kiosk is a money loading device that works similar to ATM machines with funds transferred directly onto patrons' RFID wristbands," comments Victor LaRosa, PDC RFID and Age ID Manager. "It is part of the latest cashless payment movement for large-scale events where loose cash can easily get lost or stolen."

LaRosa added, "Smart Kiosk is dependent upon a secure means that allows the transfer of funds to the wristband using a credit or debit card. Ezic's Internet Payment Platform allows our system to work seamlessly with complete payment security."

PDC has worked with Ezic to launch the technology introducing the kiosk and wristband combination at the Jacksonville SuperBash, an official Super Bowl event, in February, 2005. The implementation proved to be a success and they have since been installing kiosks in stadiums, water parks, and fair grounds. Patrons were able to load money from a credit card or debit card onto a wristband through a kiosk. Each vendor was equipped with readers to display the balance and deduct their sale from the wristband each time the patron wished to purchase something.

When the customer is finished with the wristband, if there is a remaining balance, the kiosk is able to issue a refund with the remainder placed back onto the customer's credit or debit card if they choose. The integration with Ezic's Payment Platform allows this process to happen in real-time over secure connections.

Katie Gofron, Vice President of Channel Sales for Ezic, "I met with PDC at the ETA show in 2004 and have worked with them to complete the rollout of their product. They had a need for fast and secure transaction processing and we are always on the lookout for new applications for our payment platform, for ways to further meet merchant and consumer needs."
