San Fernando, CA (June 17, 2004) - Precision Dynamics Corporation (PDC), a global leader in automatic wristband identification, is proud to announce that the editors of Medical Device & Diagnostic Industry (MD&DI) have selected Dr. Walter W. Mosher as one of the magazine's 100 notable people. Dr. Mosher is featured in the June 2004 issue of MD&DI.

"We selected our 100 notable people on the basis of their contributions to the medical device and healthcare industries" said John Bethune, editorial director for Canon Communications publishers of MD&DI. "The individuals chosen reflect the outstanding achievements of the people behind today's medical technology."

The medical device industry is well known for its technology, a central aspect that MD&DI covers in its publication. Less often noted are the outstanding people without whom that technology would not exist. The June issue marks the first MD&DI special tribute to 100 of these individuals.

Dr. Mosher received his Doctorate of Philosophy in Engineering with Distinction from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) and has received numerous patents in the field of patient identification. Dr. Mosher is involved in numerous professional, business, government and community organizations.

In addition to his responsibilities at PDC, Mosher is a member of or serves on the board of various organizations including, the Advanced Medical Technology Association, Health Industry Business Communications Council, Southern California Biomedical Council, Valley Industry Commerce Association, Valley Economic Development Center, San Fernando Policy Advisory Council, Valley Family Center, and the Economic Alliance.
